d***m5 on eBay purchased an item and then left neutral for it being exactly as described. When buyer was questioned kindly about this, the buyer became vicious and added false slanderous feedback comments. Six months later the same eBay member began a smear campaign for items she never purchased from me, the seller, claiming it was a scam and that the items were bogus. I have 100% feedback on all such items by the way. Any way, this member then continued under the name "dream5" in a smear campaign on items I own the copyright to with a knowingly false story about buying those items for some made-up daughter. This eBay member clearly exhibits psychotic behavior. If she had a problem, all she had to do was communicate and ask to process a return. Sounds like a case of buyer's remorse. This member doesn't realize she committed a serious Web Crime in libel and defamation and I can very well sue her now, thanks to her knowingly false story. I highly suggest that all eBay members, buyers and sellers, think twice about dealing with this member. Not only is she vicious, but she clearly doesn't understand eBay policy or Internet laws regarding defamation. She really ought to get herself a lawyer to remove all such libelous information immediately, that is, if she were smart. Vicious behavior like that is completely unacceptable and unwarranted, especially since I provided her the service and item exactly as pictured and described on eBay. The only thing is, you can only sue her in the state where she resides. You would have to find legal representation in the state she resides and then have your legal team sue her in your behalf. That's a good possibility, but in all honesty, it's probably not worth the effort unless she's loaded.

Where are the tags you claimed were there? I guess you have another explanation for them missing as well. We have re-laundered it. It is a hassle to repackage it, take it to the P.O. and then pay again for its return shipping. The better plan is do not rip people off from the beginning. It really is not worth it in the long run - you just have not learned that yet. The negatives will come back to you.

These two eBay accounts are the same person. They sell terrible crusty replicas of the charmed book of shadows and put a different cover on them to say they are a real Witch's spell book and charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars on them, scamming innocent buyers who believe the made-up story about them. Terrible counterfeits of copyrighted charmed merchandise! Beware! Buyers beware!!!
Demanded extra packing material for shipment, which he would not pay for. Once delivered, said everything was fine, then a couple days later, one of the five items sent was no good and wanted a refund but refused to send the item back. I offered a refund once the item was returned - with no response for several days. The next week, two more items were now magically "inaccurately described" and should be refunded without returning them. When offered refund once the items were returned, all five items were now no good and he threatened to open a Paypal dispute. After over a month of haggling and threatening e-mails (all the time claiming he was my "friend"), he finally sent the entire order back - as cheaply as possible using inadequate packaging. Luckily, the items arrived back in acceptable (re-sellable) condition. Total loss on mailing, packing materials, Paypal and e-bay fees came to close to $95.00 - not including the incredible waste of time. Block this little jerk now, or you will be very sorry you didn't.

This scamming seller on eBay also prints out charmed pages to throw together crappy books she also claims are antique. You can clearly tell she makes them herself and they are no older than a week old. They are butt ugly and it is sick. You can even see she is buying ink cartridges and calligraphy pens in her buying feedback (how stupid is she?!). I mean, WOW she made it easy to figure out how sick she is.
ABSO-FAB-FUNCKENSTEIN (also appearing as CALIOPESART) is a crook! The shop shows seemingly exquisite earrings -but they certainly did not resemble the ones 'I' received! The workmanship was very poor- faulty edging and the image was so badly saturated with glue or varnish that the design was totally lost. Vastly overpriced yet not even Xmas cracker quality. The item had failed to arrive after first ordering, so had been dispatched again. I now realise it was all probably a stalling tactic to push me beyond the 45 day limit permitted for feedback. Prior to that the seller had promised a refund -after that no refund came and my mailings have been routinely ignored ever since. Not a huge sum at stake-except that I'm disabled and every penny counts. I just don't see how the positive ratings can be genuine.

Austarlia buyer very quickly opened a paypal dispute 3 days after his checked cleared and thought the item was shipped. Said that my item was not as advertized and I had not responded to any emails. It normally takes at least a week for Australia to recieve anything from the states. I had not shipped it yet due to the cost of $90.26 but had not had a chance to tell him. It probably saved me from losing the product and shipping.

If you sell vintage costume jewelry, you might want to block this one. She bought and paid for an item, then in "note to the seller" on the payment page, she puts "can you throw in the shipping?" What?!!! I just ignored her and shipped. Then she leaves feedback that the shipping was a little pricey. Little does she know that all the shipping cost was used up in postage, insurance, supplies and ebay fees. Clueless! She has done this to multiple sellers. You have to look at her feedback good to see the problem, but it is there. Most sellers have high praises for her, but if you dig, you can find removed feedback where sellers lost it with her, neutrals back when we could leave it, and various comments about her manipulative behavior.

ddstco Said that the item does not work, and was broken during the shipment and wanted a full refund. I told him that he can return it, and get a full refund, and I will pay his shipping. He is from Australia and his shipping is very expensive. Yet he did not send it back but left a negative feedback. It seems that he just lied about the item being broken, and wanted the item for free. When I gave him the option to cancel the sale he refused and just left a negative feedback.
pammiepye Carrie Lovato -- bought an amazon e-card from me, waited two weeks, then filed as though they did not receive the item, even though I sent the code to them in their EBAY EMAIL, and they already of course took the credit from Amazon. She buys your item, and pay in 5 days, and after you post the package, she ask to change the shipping method. (stupid to say this after shipment was completed.) Finally, in a short while, shoe open the case" item not received" and get both her money back and the item. She has been doing this many times whit new ID, so be aware of her name and address.
I sent him a new set of Hornady .45 dies and he sent back a used set or destroyed the ones sent. He even sanded down the inside of the box. Every die was destroyed. I don't get why someone would do this. Maybe he doesn't like guns? As soon as I told him to return the item he filed a claim. I can't even sell the ones he returned. They will be listed for a high price so nobody will buy them. The damage will be shown for all to see.
Won auction for a $20 canteen and pouch on a $2.25 bid, then claims the canteen had a hole in it, it was new, I packed it myself, after I refunded he refused to cancel sale so I can get ebay fees refunded. Did not even ask him to return damaged item.

NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE HAIR. NOTHING AT ALL! She was upset that my Peruvian hair didn't look like the BRAZILIAN HAIR that she had purchased. I tried to work with her, even though there is no way I can make Peruvian hair look like Brazilian. The textures are different. She's a moron. Right as I was working to get her refund, she went to Paypal. I was not notified at all and that stupid cunt got what she wanted. She complained for no reason. If she had buyer's remorse, she could have said something, but instead she destroyed my seller's credibility. Now people doubt my hair because of her lies!
Sellers need to UNITE! There has got to be a way ON Ebay to warn other seller's of all these pathetic losers! They have a free for all with our reputation. There should be something that a seller could see next to their ID that they are non payers, dead beats, negger happy and so forth. Point system, I don't care something! So tired of these scammers! All Ebay says is you can block them, fine but only after they have done the damage! NOTE: New policy 5/1/13. If a buyer leaves a retaliatory feed back, you can have it removed but good luck trying to get there. When they transfer you to India, HANG UP. Demand to speak to someone in the USA. In January this year I listed a few high ticket items to cover expenses for an upcoming project. A couple of days after an item was purchased I got a message from the high bidder saying he tried to pay but my Paypal account was telling him I couldn't receive money.
I looked into this and discovered it to be true: during the 6 months or so I hadn't used my account a new law had passed whereby all foreign residents had to have their id's verified by Paypal. I had missed this as I had not been active on ebay in a while so I apologized to the customer and set out to do the paperwork. About a week later when the Paypal issue was resolved I let the buyer know and received a message about a week after that (possibly more) apologizing for the delay, the buyer saying he was posted in the Australian outback and couldn't access his account for another week to 10 days.
I trusted he would pay as on the one hand he was a frequent buyer on ebay with no issues that I could detect, and because his attempt to pay me had been verifiable.
Given the circumstances I politely waited. When he returned from his trip (IF this was actually true, rather than just finding excuses to delay payment because he had spent too much on other purchases in the meantime, which with hindsight seems the much more plausible explanation!), he emailed me saying would I please send him a Paypal invoice as the time for paying through ebay had elapsed.
Again, although the payment was long due, I had no reason to suspect foul play: he was spontaneously asking me for an invoice and he was also regularly paying for items from other sellers. I sent the invoice. A week later I sent a reminder. Then a week later another. No news.
I am not a full time seller, but I rely on my ebay sales to cover punctual expenses. Given I was going to have extra expenses- the very reason I listed some of my more valuable items at the time (a good 2 months before the extra expenses, to make sure I wouldn' t be short when I needed the funds) -as a result of this buyer not paying I had to pay a late fee for my rent and had my health insurance cut off !!
This buyer took advantage of a situation to manipulate me into trusting him and should not be allowed to get away with this abuse of trust!
After checking that he hadn't had a stroke or heart attack (he was buying items almost weekly on ebay since purchasing from me!!) I warned him I would blacklist him. No answer came. So here it is:

I also have a friend who has over 4000+ feedbacks under her belt on eBay as a seller. She read all the things bs20102010 said on the dispute and is aware of how this person handled the transaction. Even my friend, who sells exclusively on eBay with over 4,000+ sales under her belt, said she never encountered a buyer such as bs20102010 and has blocked that buyer in addition to a family member of hers who sells on eBay. Even the guy who works in eBay's resolution dept. told me they were flagging her account as a high-risk buyer! Trust me, save yourself a big hassle and block BS20102010.

When buyer was questioned kindly about this, the buyer became vicious and added false slanderous feedback comments. Six months later the same eBay member began a smear campaign for items she never purchased from me, the seller, claiming it was a scam and that the items were bogus. I have 100% feedback on all such items by the way. Any way, this member then continued under the name "dream5" in a smear campaign on items I own the copyright to with a knowingly false story about buying those items for some made-up daughter. This eBay member clearly exhibits psychotic behavior. If she had a problem, all she had to do was communicate and ask to process a return. Sounds like a case of buyer's remorse. This member doesn't realize she committed a serious Web Crime in libel and defamation and I can very well sue her now, thanks to her knowingly false story. I highly suggest that all eBay members, buyers and sellers, think twice about dealing with this member. Not only is she vicious, but she clearly doesn't understand eBay policy or Internet laws regarding defamation. She really ought to get herself a lawyer to remove all such libelous information immediately, that is, if she were smart. Vicious behavior like that is completely unacceptable and unwarranted, especially since I provided her the service and item exactly as pictured and described on eBay. You would have to find legal representation in the state she resides and then have your legal team sue her in your behalf. That's a good possibility, but in all honesty, it's probably not worth the effort unless she's loaded.

Just check out his past auctions with the search: completed listings function and look at his 'bidders' and their percentages. ReplyDeleteluke.hawkins - Buyer didn't read the description or listing title and thought I was selling contact lenses for $5. (Which are against ebay policy and I would never do that on their site). When I tried to contact the buyer to tell them there were no lenses for sale, and asked if they would like a refund, they refused to respond on multiple occasions, instead choosing to leave a negative because they don't know how to read.

When I asked her why she didn't contact me first before leaving negative feedback, she said she "thought" she did, but realized later that it didn't go through, although still wouldn't revise her feedback. I offered full refund, said she would return the item (a preowned handbag), but I haven't heard from her since. I had 100% feedback until then.

With all the experience you have, you could not have missed these problems. It has been laundered. The labels are wrinkled from the prior machine washing. It really is just that simple. Where are the tags you claimed were there? I guess you have another explanation for them missing as well. We have re-laundered it. It is a hassle to repackage it, take it to the P.O. and then pay again for its return shipping. The better plan is do not rip people off from the beginning. It really is not worth it in the long run - you just have not learned that yet. The negatives will come back to you.

These two eBay accounts are the same person. They sell terrible crusty replicas of the charmed book of shadows and put a different cover on them to say they are a real Witch's spell book and charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars on them, scamming innocent buyers who believe the made-up story about them. Terrible counterfeits of copyrighted charmed merchandise! Beware! Buyers beware!!!

ReplyDeleteDemanded extra packing material for shipment, which he would not pay for. Once delivered, said everything was fine, then a couple days later, one of the five items sent was no good and wanted a refund but refused to send the item back. I offered a refund once the item was returned - with no response for several days. The next week, two more items were now magically "inaccurately described" and should be refunded without returning them. When offered refund once the items were returned, all five items were now no good and he threatened to open a Paypal dispute. After over a month of haggling and threatening e-mails (all the time claiming he was my "friend"), he finally sent the entire order back - as cheaply as possible using inadequate packaging. Luckily, the items arrived back in acceptable (re-sellable) condition. Total loss on mailing, packing materials, Paypal and e-bay fees came to close to $95.00 - not including the incredible waste of time. Block this little jerk now, or you will be very sorry you didn't.

1) Sell the product to international buyers.
2) Few days after, refund the product price, but keeps the shipping price.
3) Send a track number that doesn´t exists or it was already used to a near location
4) Informs you saying that he sent you the goodies, you didn´t pick up the product, it returned to him.
When you ask him about tracking numbers or return protocols, you´re ignored.
The Ebay seller "californiaperfumes" is an international scammer. Sells perfumes to all over the world (Some of them, reported as counterfeit)

This scamming seller on eBay also prints out charmed pages to throw together crappy books she also claims are antique. You can clearly tell she makes them herself and they are no older than a week old. They are butt ugly and it is sick. You can even see she is buying ink cartridges and calligraphy pens in her buying feedback (how stupid is she?!). I mean, WOW she made it easy to figure out how sick she is.

ReplyDeleteCALIOPESART) is a crook! The shop shows seemingly exquisite earrings -but they certainly did not resemble the ones 'I' received! The workmanship was very poor- faulty edging and the image was so badly saturated with glue or varnish that the design was totally lost. Vastly overpriced yet not even Xmas cracker quality. The item had failed to arrive after first ordering, so had been dispatched again. I now realise it was all probably a stalling tactic to push me beyond the 45 day limit permitted for feedback. Prior to that the seller had promised a refund -after that no refund came and my mailings have been routinely ignored ever since. Not a huge sum at stake-except that I'm disabled and every penny counts. I just don't see how the positive ratings can be genuine.

Please add ephemerastuff2 to your list. He bid on a number of items, bitched about the shipping and handling cost, paid late and bitched some more. Turns out that it's illegal for him to import the items into his country so, rather than have them confiscated by customs at my expense, I refunded all of his money. Now he is giving me a string of negative feedback with slanderous comments that he is well aware are outright lies. Of course eBay policies will not allow me any recourse other than to give him positive feedback.

Said that my item was not as advertized and I had not responded to any emails. It normally takes at least a week for Australia to recieve anything from the states. She bought and paid for an item, then in "note to the seller" on the payment page, she puts "can you throw in the shipping?" What?!!! I just ignored her and shipped. Then she leaves feedback that the shipping was a little pricey. Little does she know that all the shipping cost was used up in postage, insurance, supplies and ebay fees. Clueless! She has done this to multiple sellers. You have to look at her feedback good to see the problem, but it is there. Most sellers have high praises for her, but if you dig, you can find removed feedback where sellers lost it with her, neutrals back when we could leave it, and various comments about her manipulative behavior.

Finally, in a short while, shoe open the case" item not received" and get both her money back and the item. She has been doing this many times whit new ID, so be aware of her name and address.

Has no idea how shipping works. Expected a media mail shipment within two days. Rude. got a refund, gets to keep the item when USPS finds it, and left me a negative. Stupid.

She then sent me the hair claiming it was terrible quality and that she wanted to exchange it. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE HAIR. NOTHING AT ALL! She was upset that my Peruvian hair didn't look like the BRAZILIAN HAIR that she had purchased. I tried to work with her, even though there is no way I can make Peruvian hair look like Brazilian. The textures are different. She's a moron. Right as I was working to get her refund, she went to Paypal. I was not notified at all and that stupid cunt got what she wanted. She complained for no reason. If she had buyer's remorse, she could have said something, but instead she destroyed my seller's credibility. Now people doubt my hair because of her lies!

They have a free for all with our reputation. There should be something that a seller could see next to their ID that they are non payers, dead beats, negger happy and so forth. Point system, I don't care something! So tired of these scammers!
All Ebay says is you can block them, fine but only after they have done the damage!
NOTE: New policy 5/1/13. If a buyer leaves a retaliatory feed back, you can have it removed but good luck trying to get there.
When they transfer you to India, HANG UP. Demand to speak to someone in the USA. You will get further, trust me!

Non-paying bidder, abuse of trust case:
ReplyDeleteIn January this year I listed a few high ticket items to cover expenses for an upcoming project. A couple of days after an item was purchased I got a message from the high bidder saying he tried to pay but my Paypal account was telling him I couldn't receive money.
I looked into this and discovered it to be true: during the 6 months or so I hadn't used my account a new law had passed whereby all foreign residents had to have their id's verified by Paypal. I had missed this as I had not been active on ebay in a while so I apologized to the customer and set out to do the paperwork. About a week later when the Paypal issue was resolved I let the buyer know and received a message about a week after that (possibly more) apologizing for the delay, the buyer saying he was posted in the Australian outback and couldn't access his account for another week to 10 days.
I trusted he would pay as on the one hand he was a frequent buyer on ebay with no issues that I could detect, and because his attempt to pay me had been verifiable.
Given the circumstances I politely waited. When he returned from his trip (IF this was actually true, rather than just finding excuses to delay payment because he had spent too much on other purchases in the meantime, which with hindsight seems the much more plausible explanation!), he emailed me saying would I please send him a Paypal invoice as the time for paying through ebay had elapsed.
Again, although the payment was long due, I had no reason to suspect foul play: he was spontaneously asking me for an invoice and he was also regularly paying for items from other sellers. I sent the invoice. A week later I sent a reminder. Then a week later another. No news.
I am not a full time seller, but I rely on my ebay sales to cover punctual expenses. Given I was going to have extra expenses- the very reason I listed some of my more valuable items at the time (a good 2 months before the extra expenses, to make sure I wouldn' t be short when I needed the funds) -as a result of this buyer not paying I had to pay a late fee for my rent and had my health insurance cut off !!
This buyer took advantage of a situation to manipulate me into trusting him and should not be allowed to get away with this abuse of trust!
After checking that he hadn't had a stroke or heart attack (he was buying items almost weekly on ebay since purchasing from me!!) I warned him I would blacklist him. No answer came. So here it is:

A big buyer that likes to leave negative feedback for any and no reason, does not read listings and is just a horrible person to deal with! Avoid unless you have perfect items! AND even then I would worry!!!!
